Find startups building the next energy system.

Krowd Guide helps teams responsible for energy and infrastructure projects keep the outside evidence behind a site decision current. We monitor covered public records around power, water, land, approvals, infrastructure, and neighboring activity—showing what changed, the source, and what needs review.

Energia AI is an AI-powered HVAC optimization platform for commercial buildings. It connects to existing building management systems and continuously optimizes HVAC operations using real-time building data, weather, occupancy, and energy conditions to reduce energy costs and emissions without requiring major equipment upgrades.

The Next Evolution of Utility Data

SolarScope Diagnostics exists because solar has a trust problem. Too many estimates don't hold up once a system's installed. Homeowners don't trust the numbers, leasing companies underwrite blind, and installers have no way to prove their projections when challenged. We started by hitting this exact wall ourselves, building site-data tools for a previous energy venture and finding the data simply didn't exist. So we built the instrument that generates it. SolarScope is a roof-deployable sensor box that measures real plane-of-array irradiance, shading, and site conditions before a system goes in, effectively replacing assumption-based quotes with measured, site-specific proof. Don't guess solar. Measure it.

Servicing energy companies in projects, risk, and valuations with a subsurface focus

PowerGenX improves warehousing and distribution center throughput by up to 27% by replacing lead acid batteries in material handling equipment (forklifts) with hydrogen fuel cell technology. The company also offers portable power generators as well and microgrid power systems based on the same fuel cell technology.

At Arqaios, we embed AI and advanced motion sensing directly into the energy infrastructure (light switches, power outlets and air vents), and reduce energy consumption by up to 40% while extending power backup systems by up to 60%, all passively and without invading privacy.

AI Permit is revolutionizing environmental compliance for the oil, gas, and energy sectors. We envisioned a platform where intelligence and execution live in one place—allowing AI to do the heavy lifting behind the scenes. By putting the complex permitting process on co-pilot, we empower energy operators and environmental consultants to move faster with total confidence. From streamlining workflows to ensuring regulatory precision, we elevate the permitting experience so your operations stay compliant, on time, and on budget.

EnnoFlow is building an energy-aware distributed AI infrastructure platform. EnnoBox transforms existing powered and connected locations into compute nodes, while Enna dynamically orchestrates workloads across the network based on economics, availability, latency, and energy. At scale, EnnoFlow creates aggregated, low-latency inference capacity for enterprises and hyperscalers.

sees.ai is a Boeing-backed provider of level-4 autonomous drone inspection services for critical infrastructure. Founded in 2018 in the UK, sees.ai specialises in Asset Health Monitoring and Quality Assurance Inspections for electricity transmission and distribution networks, helping grid operators transform inspection data from a compliance obligation into a strategic asset. The company already has established contracts across major European transmission system operators (TSOs) and is now expanding into the US market to deliver safer, faster, and more cost-effective inspection of grid infrastructure at scale.

FocisAI turns industrial 3D scans into an asset intelligence layer for safer, faster facility operations.

Zensys is building the intelligent infrastructure layer for the AI home — starting with HVAC. Its intelligent vent system uses room-level sensing, airflow control, and edge AI to optimize comfort and energy use while creating a private, connected infrastructure for future Home AI applications. Zensys aims to turn every home into a smarter, more efficient and responsive energy asset.

Testing startup..VoltVanguard is a decentralized energy management platform that aggregates commercial battery storage, solar arrays, and EV charging infrastructure into dynamic Virtual Power Plants (VPPs). Powered by a predictive machine-learning engine, the software analyzes real-time grid congestion, weather data, and spot-market electricity pricing to automatically dispatch stored power during peak demand periods. This asset-light platform maximizes yield for commercial real estate owners by up to 24% while providing critical ancillary load-balancing services to local utility operators.
